Modern Public Key Cryptography (SS 2025)

Course Number 705008 | Sommersemester 2025

Collusion Mitigation in Programmable Cryptography

Content

This year's selected topic for the advanced cryptography class is Collusion Mitigation in Programmable Cryptography. In this course, you will dive deeply into an emerging issue in modern cryptography. Various approaches to secure computation require threshold cryptography with some form of non-collusion assumption between the participating parties. We survey a wide array of approaches to mitigate such collusion risks. Note that this topic may only be offered this term.

Administrative Information

Two introduction lectures:
  • March 12th, 2025
  • April 2nd, 2025
Independent study period with specific topic per student. We expect you to read and understand a paper, and write a short survey of the methods used. Present your survey to the class, and discuss with your colleagues. In addition, we invited an umber of guest speakers that author these papers to give presentations during May and June. If you have any questions, please write an email to lena.heimberger@tugraz.at and christian.rechberger@tugraz.at.
