Congratulations to PhD Candidate Aikata for winning the Critical Infrastructure Award by the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) for her PhD research on Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE)!
The CI Award recognises young scientists for outstanding achievements related to safety-critical infrastructures in the context of their PhD studies. It is intended, in particular, for the completion of their dissertation.

Aikata’s research focuses on efficient cryptographic accelerators for quantum-secure communication and privacy-preserving computation, including developing unified PQc cryptoprocessors and high-performance FHE hardware.
